We just got one last summer and thankfully, it's on the patio. But most of the sand does end up on the ground, around the box itself. Christian enjoys pouring it out, too. No matter what, the sand does get into the house. Sometimes, he will sneak a sandbox truck into the house and before I know it, I'm sitting in sand on the couch! Grrr!!! Anyway, great post!
